Ras Laffan Power Company (RLPC), founded in 2001, is the very first Independent Water and Power Plant (IWPP) in Qatar. It is an integrated facility, where Power generation with combined cycle Power plant and potable water production with Multistage Flash Distillation process operating in tandem to provide abundant, reliable, safe and clean electricity and water to the residence of the State of Qatar.
