Rabigh IWSPP is owned and operated by the Rabigh Arabian Water and Electricity Company (RAWEC), a joint venture between ACWA Power, Marubeni Corp, JGC Corporation, and Petro Rabigh. Phase II involves an expansion of the existing captive plant supplying power, steam and water with HFO-based steam turbines that desalinate water in an RO plant. While Phase II is developed as a standalone project, it is integrated with Phase I once Phase II PCOD is achieved.
