The Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT)- Abu Dhabi is a governmental institution that is responsible for the urban planning and transport sectors, and three regional municipalities. DMT supports the growth and urban development of Abu Dhabi Emirate, and regulates and monitors urban development activities. Also, DMT ensures the highest standards of safety, security, sustainability and technological developments of land, air and maritime transport networks of the Emirate. DMT was established in 2019 and is headquartered in Abu Dhabi- UAE.
