Department of Economic Development proposes the economic and commercial policy for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, works out its economic rules, priorities and procedures, ensures full optimization of its human and material resources, participates in working out local and federal laws and regulations, prepares and issues economic statistics, studies and periodicals; all in order to achieve economic growth and development of the Emirate and to improve its investment and business climate.
